There are a lot of sites on the
Internet that have catalogs of seeds you can order. These sites generally
carry a fairly wide variety of prices and strains. Prices tend to range from
about $50 to $400 for 10 seeds. These catalogs provide a fair amount of useful
information about the seeds they list. Where you get your seeds is entirely up
to you but if possible it’s best to buy them at a store where you have the
opportunity to discuss your selection with someone knowledgeable on the

Note: As a rule the bloom period is
listed for each seed strain. If a listing says the bloom period is 7 to 9
weeks, that means somewhere between the 7th and the 9th week of bloom the
plant should hit the optimum harvest stage. It does not mean that if you keep
it in bloom until week 9 it will necessarily be better than if you harvest it
in week 8.
